Dr. Aris Kaschefi
Dr. Aris Kaschefi has been working for the Federal Association of the German Vending Industry (BDV) as a legal advisor in Cologne since 2005. Since 2011, he has been Managing Director of the BDV, which currently represents the interests of around 350 member companies.
Kaschefi studied law at the Universities of Cologne and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and obtained his doctorate before initially working as a lawyer for various commercial law firms. His work focused on national and international business law as well as national and international private and civil procedural law.
Eric M.C. Schwaab
Eric M.C. Schwaab has been an object manager at Vending Report since 1997. He started his career within the publishing group in 1995 and worked for various magazines before taking over the management of Vending Report in 1997.
His milestones include the extension of Vending Report Germany to Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland and the installation of Vending Report Globe. He is also the editor of several vending guides and other books in various languages (DE, RUS, CZ/SK, PL, HU, US). Mr. Schwaab is thus an excellent connoisseur of the vending market in Europe, North America and Asia.

As a consultant and industry expert, Fabio Ziemßen organises meetings for innovators and start-ups from the food environment throughout Germany (German Food Startup Meetups, Next Generation Food Think Tank, Startup Food Market, etc.) and is committed to networking the international FoodTech scene.
As Director Food Innovation at METRO AG, he is responsible for the new business unit NX-FOOD. Under the EFood-Blog brand, he advises companies on product innovation strategies, brand repositioning and start-up ecosystem interaction (e.g. incubation, accelerator or company building).
From 2015-2016 Fabio Ziemßen was a member of the advisory board of the Digital Economy of North Rhine-Westphalia. Since 2017 he is co-founder of the Coworking Spaces Super7000 GmbH in Düsseldorf and founder of the platform #Foodnext.

New work expert Birgit Gebhardt outlines new concepts, planning and facilities to simplify work and supply the digital nomads. For the vending machine industry that means: new locations, differentiated supply offers and customer-oriented services.

Petr Zrubecky is 55 years old and has been internationally active in the vending industry for 30 years. He has been working as a consultant with a focus on business development and vending in China for 11 years. He is currently Managing Director of Leading Consulting Solutions Ltd, a consulting company in the UK.
Martin Colston - Colston Consultants
Colston Consultants was founded in 2014, and is an independent strategy and insight consultancy specialising in the Vending Industry and Away From Home (AFH) Hot Beverage.
The principal consultant is Martin Colston, who has 30 years’ experience in the Vending and A.F.H. Hot Beverage industry in over 25 countries, and in particular Germany, UK, France, USA, Canada, Japan and China.
Martin is the leading provider of data on the vending industry in Europe: he has produced the detailed UK Census for the Automatic Vending Association for the last 5 years, and market reports on another 21 countries for the European Vending Association for the last 3 years, and has just produced the first ever detailed report on the German market for the BDV.
He has completed successful projects for major operators, coffee companies and system manufacturers covering market sizing and segmentation, growth strategy, product portfolio planning and coffee optimisation.
Martin is half Austrian, speaks German, and lives in the UK.
Erwin Wetzel - CEO, European Vending & Coffee Service Association (EVA)

Erwin Wetzel has worked for the European Vending & Coffee Service Association (EVA) since 2011 and has been Managing Director since 2014.
The association consists of 120 members from all segments of the industry who are either national associations or individual companies.
Erwin Wetzel is a political scientist and has specialised in EU legislative procedures and lobbying at the College of Europe. Before 2011 Erwin Wetzel worked as an assistant to a member of the European Parliament and represented the interests of the Austrian Association of Municipalities in Brussels.
